  1. A couple is happy to be alive after a car crashed into their motel room Monday afternoon. Cameron Howell and his wife were inside their room near Tillman's Corner in Mobile when a car came barreling through. "My wife and myself were sitting on the bed and then next thing you know, we saw the back of the vehicle just come in the room. It was like an explosion. Just debris everywhere," Howell said. Police are investigating the incident and thankfully there were no major injuries. (News Channel 3)
  2. Mobile Police Headquarters will be a collection site for National Prescription Take-Back Day in Mobile this Saturday. The event is meant to keep any expired, unused, and unwanted medications off the streets and out of homes. On Saturday, Apr. 30, head to 2460 Government Blvd. with any old prescription medications for disposal. Services are free of charge and all attendees will remain anonymous. (NBC 15 WPMI)
  3. The hope for one family in Mobile isn't fading in their quest to find a missing family member. 28-year-old Josten Peters was reported missing almost a month ago on Mar. 29. Peters was last seen walking from his home on Ginger Drive. His family has a message for Peters and the community: "We love you, Josten, you're not in any trouble, just come home," said his cousin, Kim Fields. "If anybody knows where he is please reach out to somebody. We're on Facebook whatever, just please reach out to us because we miss him, and we just want him home." (WKRG News 5)
