🌱 Councilman Reynolds Arrested + Abortion Rights Rally At Courthouse

Morning, neighbors! I'm back with your new edition of the Mobile Daily, fresh off the presses. Let's get this Tuesday started off right, with a quick guide to the most important things happening in town these days.

Here are the top three stories in Mobile today:

  1. A Mobile City Councilman was arrested Sunday morning for public intoxication. The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office arrested Councilman Ben Reynolds around 9:30 a.m. in Baldwin County. He was released from jail at 11:32 a.m. The City of Mobile issued a statement reporting that the city will not speculate on the incident at this time. (WRBL)

  3. Abortion rights protestors gathered at the Mobile courthouse on Saturday. The rally was to raise awareness of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. The rally and protest were part of a nationwide movement that occurred over the weekend. Various states and cities are holding demonstrations and boycotts in response to the Supreme Court decision.
