Here are the top three stories in Mobile today:

  1. Mobile police are investigating a shooting-turned homicide that occurred on Friday at Cloverdale Drive. One male was shot and sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds. He later died at the hospital. Police have not yet located the shooter. (NBC)
  2. A man has been sentenced to life in prison for his involvement in a 2018 robbery. Herbert Hosea was found guilty of Robbery in the First Degree by a jury for allegedly robbing the Family Dollar at Broad Street in 2018. He will serve life without parole due to prior offenses. (WKRG News 5)
  3. The Mobile County District Attorney's office delivered Easter baskets to those at the Penelope House on Good Friday. The baskets were given to the victims in the shelter and transitional living program. The Penelope House is a nonprofit that protects and helps victims of domestic violence and their children.
