Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:
- A flag retirement box has been installed at Mobile Government Plaza. The installation is operated by the Mobile County Sheriff's Office. Residents with a worn-down American flag can drop it off at the flag retirement box for disposal. Please fold your flag respectfully before putting it in the box. (WKRG News 5)
- The Mobile County Health Department is now recommending the use of masks indoors. The recommendation is due to a recent surge in COVID-19 transmission along the Gulf Coasts. Residents are also urged to practice social distancing and to get tested if symptoms occur. (Fox 10 News)
- A stolen Coca-Cola Bottling Company truck crashed into a wooded area near Mobile's Blackshire Hall. The truck was stolen from the company's service department, according to an official with the company. The Mobile Police Department is currently looking at surveillance footage to determine the thief. (UTV 44)
