  1. A suspected case of the flesh-eating disease caused by bacteria has been found in Mobile Bay waters. The incident once again raises concerns and awareness about vibrio vulnificus, a naturally occurring bacteria that thrive in the brackish waters of Mobile Bay and the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The bacteria are most active when the water is the warmest, May through October. (WKRG News 5)
  2. Mobile PD is investigating the report of shots fired in the area of Spring Hill Avenue and Mobile Infirmary on Tuesday morning, just before 3 a.m. Police say a male gunshot victim suffered what they believed to be a non-life-threatening wound and was transported to the hospital by Mobile Fire-Rescue. The investigation is ongoing. (FOX10 News)
  3. In an effort to get more city employees vaccinated against COVID-19, the City of Mobile is offering a $100 incentive to those who show proof of vaccination. (NBC 15 WPMI)
  4. Doctors are growing concerned as Mobile and Baldwin County residents continue to delay emergency medical treatment due to a surge in COVID hospitalizations. (NBC 15 WPMI)
  5. Carnival Cruise Line announced its Carnival Sensation will push back its restart date to January 2022 from October 21, 2020. (WKRG News 5)
