Here are the top stories in Mobile today:

  1. The Mobile County Health Department has announced four COVID-19 vaccination clinics that will take place at the start of the new year. The first will be on Jan. 3 at the Dauphin Island Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be one on Jan. 5 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., one on Jan. 10 at the VIA! Health, Fitness, and Enrichment Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the last one will be on Jan. 16 at St. Peter Baptist Church from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (WKRG News 5)
  2. Scammers are trying to sell fake tickets to the Mardi Gras in Mobile Port City Secondliners Ball. President of the Port City Secondliners, Tim Hale, has said that only physical tickets will be sold for this ball, so if anyone tries to sell you a virtual ticket, it is part of a scam. To buy tickets to the ball, head to the Secondliners' Facebook page to learn more. (FOX10 News)
  3. The annual MoonPie Over Mobile New Year's Eve event has brought more life to downtown Mobile. Visit Mobile CEO David Clark is hopeful that more resources will be available to expand this event in the future. (Lagniappe)
