Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:

  1. Gulf Coast Crazy King Burrito is coming to Mobile. The restaurant leased a 1,200-square-foot space at Dauphin Square Shopping Center on Dauphin Street. The location plans to open in Sept. The restaurant has locations in Beavercreek, Ohio and Stevensville, Michigan. (AL.com)
  2. The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department reports that a 60-year-old man was struck on Saturday afternoon during a hit and run accident. The incident occurred downtown at the corner of Government Street and South Scott Street. The driver did not stop during the incident. The victim has been taken to University Hospital to receive treatment on his leg. (Fox 10 News)
  3. The City of Mobile will be starting its vehicle booting operation today. The city will be booting tires of vehicles with multiple outstanding traffic tickets. The goal of the operation is to get Mobile drivers in compliance with the city's parking rules. The operation will ultimately result in giving visitors and residents greater access to the city's downtown businesses. (KAKE)
