Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:

The announcement was made through a news release published by Eastern Shore and Mobile Metropolitan Planning Organizations. Before the project can begin, the organizations will vote on the master plan this summer. The new toll bridge is meant to ease congestion. (WKRG News 5)
  2. The City of Mobile is reminding residents that libraries, community centers, and senior centers can be places of relief during the ongoing heat wave. The indoor city-owned facilities offer air conditioning and shade during the record high temperatures that routinely exceed triple digits. 3. The Mobile County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect wanted for theft and financial exploitation of the elderly. Sonny Mitchel has four warrants for his arrests.
