  1. If you tuned in Sunday night to see the Cincinnati Bengals and LA Rams compete for pro football's biggest prize, you may have seen a Super Bowl ad placed by a local law firm that was filmed in part in front of Springdale Mall! The commercial comes from injury attorney David Maloney and parodies "Back to the Future," right down to a DeLorean. (NBC 15 WPMI)
  2. After an eventful weekend of Mardi Gras and Super Bowl LVI celebrations across Mobile, local restaurant owners say they are seeing a rise in customers and profit amid the festivities. Baumhower's Victory Grille and Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux restaurant managers say business has skyrocketed lately because of Mardi Gras. The annual tradition seems to be drawing more tourists as COVID-19 cases drop across the nation. (WKRG News 5)
  3. On Sunday night, a 4-year-old boy was shot outside a Mobile apartment complex. Mobile Police were alerted of the incident and found the victim at Springhill Hospital just before 9 p.m., Feb. 13. According to a news release, the child had been outside Seabreeze Apartments with a family friend when they heard shots ring out. After the pair fled inside, the friend realized the 4-year-old had been hit in the arm. Fortunately, the boy is no longer in the hospital and is at home recovering. (WKRG News 5)
