Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:

  1. The Mobile Police Department has arrested a suspect from the Ladd-Peebles Stadium shooting on new charges. Jai Scott, 20, was arrested during a traffic stop on Down Court on Saturday. Scott has been charged with receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, and no pistol permit. (Fox 10 News)
  2. The Mobile Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in a Hillcrest Road McDonald's drive-thru. According to the department, the incident occurred on Sunday morning after an argument began in the drive-thru. One of the individuals shot at the victim's car before it drove off. (WKRG News 5)
  3. Mobile-based non-profit Vivian's Door hosted its second Black Farmers Town Hall on Monday. The event was held virtually as a gateway for minority-owned businesses to develop relationships, meet investors, and obtain resources. The discussions primarily focused on farming costs, equipment repair, and growth. (WKRG.com)
