A t-storm around in the p.m. High: 90 Low: 73.
Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:
- A Mobile County assault convict has been recaptured after escaping from his assigned location. Corey Daniel Gable was assigned in Atmore, Alabama serving 20 years for assault charges. He left the location around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and was recaptured within hours. (NBC 15 WPMI)
- A family has been found safe by the Mobile Police Department after being reported missing. Cici Forrister, her 6-year-old stepdaughter, and her 7-month-old twins were located on Monday after being reported missing by the child's father, Richard Forrister. Forrister and the children were headed to Mobile to meet a non-existing estranged sister. (WKRG News 5)
- Jurassic Quest, the nation's largest dinosaur exhibit, will arrive at the Mobile Convention Center on Aug. 26. The exhibit will feature life-size dinosaurs, shows, and interactive activities. Tickets start at $19 apiece and are for timed entry. Tickets can be reserved at this link. (NBC 15 WPMI)

- The Friends of the Richards-DAR House Museum Foundation will be hosting a Mardi Gras Themed Gala at the Richards-DAR House Museum on Saturday. Everyone is invited for hors d'oeuvres, champagne punch, and more. Click for more information about the exciting gala. (City of Mobile)
- The History Museum of Mobile will be offering free admission on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. Plan your visit because free Sundays are high attendance days. (City of Mobile)
- The Mobile Arts Council will have its Little Grand Opening for its first Free Little Art Gallery on Jun. 10 at Conde-Charlotte Museum. Artists are encouraged to bring and leave artwork for the exhibit. (City of Mobile)
