and ,    twenty years ago, on September 11, 2001, the United States of America endured a violent terrorist attack leading to the tragic deaths of almost 3,000 people and injuring thousands more; and ,    twenty years ago, on September 11, 2001, the United States of America endured a violent terrorist attack leading to the tragic deaths of almost 3,000 people and injuring thousands more; and ,    in response to the attacks of the Twin Towers in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, DC, and United Airlines Flight 93 in Pennsylvania, first responders immediately answered the call to heroically save lives; recovery workers joined with uniformed officers and military personnel to locate victims lost in the attacks; and thousands of people in the United States spontaneously volunteered to directly support those recovery efforts; and ,    in response to the attacks of the Twin Towers in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, DC, and United Airlines Flight 93 in Pennsylvania, first responders immediately answered the call to heroically save lives; recovery workers joined with uniformed officers and military personnel to locate victims lost in the attacks; and thousands of people in the United States spontaneously volunteered to directly support those recovery efforts;
