- On Tuesday the Mobile City Council approved a master services agreement with Mobile-based Volkert, Inc. for the design of streetscape improvements in Downtown Mobile. The awarding of the contract achieves another goal in Mayor Sandy Stimpson's 100 Day Agenda for his third term. (WKRG News 5)
- Chief Paul Prine of the Mobile Police Department is promoting 36 officers to higher ranks and will recognize them during a promotion ceremony that will take place at Cottage Hill Baptist Church, 4255 Cottage Hill Road, on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. (Press Release Desk)
- On Wednesday, a traffic accident claimed the life of a 67-year-old man in Mobile. Officers responding to the 1900 block of Military Road about 8:29 p.m. discovered the man in a vehicle lodged partially under a container trailer. (FOX10 News)
