  1. Frontline healthcare workers and active certified teachers can now take advantage of the Down Payment Assistance Program offered by the city of Mobile. This is due to the fact that an additional $3-million of American Rescue Plan funds were added to the program to be spent over the next four years. (utv44.com)
  2. Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine has shared his expanded strategic plan that addresses crime in the city. Chief Prine says part one crime in the city is down 16 percent overall, compared to this time last year. Homicides are up 6 percent from this time last year, assaults are up 10 percent from this time last year. to try and combat crime in the city. (WKRG News 5)
  3. A Mobile sweet shop owner is delivering a giant Santa over 12 hours away to a boy with autism. Josh Ray owns Tanners Pecans on Springdale Boulevard in Mobile. They sell three-and-a-half foot giant chocolate Santas. (WKRG News 5)
