1. Just before 9:30 a.m. yesterday, Mobile Police Dept. Cpl. Katrina Frazier affirmed that one female victim was shot in the 4700 block of Calhoun Road in Tillman's Corner and transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. (Fox10)
2. In the early afternoon on Thursday, a Code Red Tornado Watch went into effect for Mobile and surrounding areas through 6:00 p.m. A few tornadoes were expected to be possible in the afternoon and into the evening. (Spot On Alabama)
3. The Mobile County Health Department released a new smartphone app called My MCHD Health Check. It offers a new way for the department to connect with Mobile County residents and visitors with access to things like COVID resources, news and events, medical services, and healthy living. (Fox10)
