  1. According to emails, Alabama AG is pressuring Mobile County Health Department to accept a settlement from opioid manufacturers. THhe wave of lawsuits in the wake of the opioid epidemic has prompted massive litigation costs for the county. According to sources, the settlement would fall "far short" of covering the legal expenses of the suit. (UTV 44)
  2. Mobile Police are looking for help identifying a burglar who shot a dog Wednesday. The man broke into a home at the 3100 block of Calais Street, taking a variety of items from the home. The article features a video that shows the man carrying a gun. Police are asking anyone with information on the man to come forward. (WKRG News 5)
