Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:

  1. The Rubber Ducky Regatta is today in downtown Mobile. The rubber ducks will race to determine the three winners that will receive prizes. The race is meant to support Mobile's Ronald McDonald House Charities. The ducks can still be purchased for $5 at the event. The race begins at 10:00 a.m. (WKRG News 5)
  2. Mobile's Mardi Gras video has been released. The song is titled "Get Down," and the video was recorded by Mobile's Jabel Hendrix. The video was filmed on Dauphin Street and featured a Brass Band with accompanying local dancers. The song is reportedly meant to get listeners out of their seats. (WKRG News 5)
  3. Mobile County EMS is getting upgraded equipment. First responders will have new advanced monitors and defibrillators in ambulances. They will allow the first responder to get a better understanding of how a patient is doing in real-time. The equipment will also allow ER doctors to instruct medics while in route. (UTV 44)
