Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:
- The City of Mobile agrees to spend $30 million on a new airport terminal. The $252 million project will build a five-gate terminal. According to Councilman Ben Reynolds, the project is a "very good use" of taxpayers' money. The approval was given through a unanimous vote of the Mobile City Council. (AL.com)
- Mobile's Saenger Theatre will be presenting a collection of comedians this fall. The lineup is very diverse - an Impractical Joker, a Netflix star, and a television host are among the selected comedians. Click the following link for the full lineup and a brief description of each. (WKRG News 5)
- Mobile County is currently hiring. The county will be hosting a Job Fair on Thursday at 1070 Schillinger Road North between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Various county departments will be at the fair providing information and instructions on the application process.
