Hey, neighbors! Sammi Caramela here with a fresh edition of the Mobile Daily.

First, today's weather:

Turning cloudy; not as warm. High: 79 Low: 57.

Here are the top stories today in Mobile:

  1. The lawyer for Reggie Todd, the college athlete facing a charge of helping the alleged Ladd-Peebles Stadium shooter in his flight from police, says Todd "hasn't done anything that violated any law" and was charged despite cooperating fully with police. Attorney Willie J. Huntley Jr. said Todd got sucked into the case after coming home from a road trip to find suspect Hezekiah Belfon in his house, uninvited. The next day, Todd reportedly told Belfon to leave, when he first learned Belfon might be connected to violence in Mobile. By this account, Belfon left Todd's home before police publicly identified him as the stadium shooter. (AL.com)
  2. Mobile police have released further information about a Sunday shooting that left three injured. According to police, three unknown suspects shot the victims at a Mill Street home, and a vacant car parked at the home was also hit by the gunfire. Two female victims and a male victim were shot; all three were taken to the hospital, with one of the female victims being treated for life-threatening injuries. (WKRG News 5)
  3. Mobile-area families turned out for Family Fun Day at Pop's Midtown Pumpkin Patch this Sunday. Attendees enjoyed pumpkin picking, a donut truck, and even a pumpkin painting station. Pop's Midtown Pumpkin Patch is open Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (FOX10 News)
