Twenty schools, colleges, employers, and partnerships across Alabama are being recognized for innovative apprenticeship and training programs that connect classroom learning with real-world careers and strengthen the state's workforce pipeline.

Crowder, Lovett shine as Troy overpowers Southern Miss 55-34 in Sun Belt opener (wsfa.com) — From Montgomery, Troy fans are celebrating a dominant 55-34 Sun Belt opener win over Southern Miss, powered by quarterback Goose Crowder's 225 passing yards and multiple scores. Troy's offense piled up 662 yards, scored on nine of eleven drives, and never turned the ball over, giving the Trojans early momentum in conference play heading into their matchup with Louisiana.
