With the park closed until at least March and an audit due later this year, he emphasizes its role in sparking development along Maxwell Boulevard and attracting both locals and visitors.

Alabama Office of Apprenticeship Announces Regional Work-Based Learning Honorees (alabama.gov) — Montgomery will host the Alabama Summit on Talent Retention and Work-Based Learning in February, where statewide winners of the Work-Based Learning Seal of Excellence will be honored. Twenty schools, colleges, employers, and partnerships across Alabama are being recognized for innovative apprenticeship and training programs that connect classroom learning with real-world careers and strengthen the state's workforce pipeline.

Crowder, Lovett shine as Troy overpowers Southern Miss 55-34 in Sun Belt opener (wsfa.com) — From Montgomery, Troy fans are celebrating a dominant 55-34 Sun Belt opener win over Southern Miss, powered by quarterback Goose Crowder's 225 passing yards and multiple scores. Troy's offense piled up 662 yards, scored on nine of eleven drives, and never turned the ball over, giving the Trojans early momentum in conference play heading into their matchup with Louisiana.
