All In Parenting Conference Set For February 13
Mountain Brook's All In Parenting Conference Elementary Edition is slated for February 13 at Crestline Elementary School.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - Mountain Brook's All In Parenting Conference will hold its Elementary Edition of its conference series February 13 at Crestline Elementary School. The conference has a large lineup of speakers and presenters, and there is no cost to attend the conference. Parents may register for up to three sessions.
The opening session, hosted by Mountain Brook School Superintendent Dicky Barlow looks at the family dinner, and how families who sit down together for meals have a lower incidence of alcohol and drug abuse among the kids and other types of risky behavior. Also slated for the conference is a panel discussion from Kari Kampakis, Laurie King, Alice Churnock, Sharon Lyerly about establishing healthy peer relationships for your children.
Other sessions on the conference include Dr. Elizabeth B. B. Lee's discussion on children with ADHD; a session on preparing children for the dangers of teenage year by Dale Wisely, Ph.D; educators Jerry and Amanda Hood's presentation on raising successful kids; the Rev. Rich Webster's talk on the pitfalls and dangers of excessive expectation; psychologist Dr. Andrea Hendricks discusses parenting and social media; and church youth director Cameron Cole looks at childhood stress.
