MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — A public hearing has been scheduled by the City of Mountain Brook regarding the closure of Beech Circle in Crestline to thru traffic. The hearing is set for January 27 at City Hall at 7 p.m.

The plan is to place bollards along the end of the Beech Circle section in Mountain Brook. In addition, traffic signs warning motorists of the closure of the street will be installed on Beech Circle.

The road has been closed to traffic entering from Montclair Road for several years, before the construction of Tapestry Park apartments. The current plan would close traffic exiting Beech Circle to Montclair Road as well.
