MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — All of the dirt moving in the Mountain Brook Athletic Complex recently is part of a plan that will see significant changes and improvements to the facility, and the project just received a monetary boost from the Jefferson County Commission.

Jefferson County Commissioner Steve Ammons announced this week a pledge of $20,000 toward the project, which includes restroom renovations, batting cage covers and new playground equipment.

Ammons, along with Mayor Stewart Welch and council members Phil Black and Virginia Smith are discussing the use of these county funds for improvements.
