At approximately 7:18 AM on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, Jefferson County deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of Martinique Drive in Center Point to investigate an assault that had occurred on a school bus. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that 37 year-old Nannatt Waldrop boarded a Jefferson County School Bus in the 1800 block of Martinique Drive. Waldrop confronted an 11-year-old student whom Waldrop suspected of bullying her child. The child and Waldrop were involved in an altercation.
Waldrop was placed under arrest and is being charged with Assault 3rd Degree, Trespassing on a School bus and Disorderly Conduct. Her bonds total $10,500.
