MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Summer vacation is over and school has started back in Mountain Brook. But that was not the most newsworthy item in the area during the month of August.

During the month, some of the headlines in Mountaion Brook included controversy over the Lane Parke development, an online predator sentenced to prison thanks to work by the Mountaian Brook Police Department and some new tenants announced for Brookwood Village.
