LJCC Looking For Volunteers For Community Food Bank

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — The Levite Jewish Community Center will serve as a mobile pantry site for the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama next week. To help serve community members in need, the LJCC needs volunteers for the cause.

Volunteers are needed to help pack food boxes Monday, April 20. Additionally, volunteers will be needed Tuesday, April 21 to direct traffic off Montclair Road and through the LJCC parking lot, and help with the distribution of up to 300 boxes.

On both days, volunteers will need to provide their own face mask, and must be willing to get their temperature taken upon arrival at the LJCC. Additionally, volunteers will be required to practice social distancing during their shift.
