Local Students Named To Dean's List At Clemson University
Several local residents were named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the Fall 2019 semester.

CLEMSON, SC — The Dean's List for the Fall 2019 semester at Clemson University was announced last week, and several local residents were among those that were named to the prestigious list.
To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
The Birmingham-area residents who made the list for the Fall 2019 semester are:

- Hall A. Morton of Birmingham, whose major is Financial Management
- Bailey S. Whetter of Hoover, whose major is Marketing
- William P. Kirkpatrick of Vestavia, whose major is Health Science
- William F. Gardner II of Mountain Brook, whose major is Chemistry
- Mary Ellis E. Thornton of Mountain Brook, whose major is Biochemistry
- Hamp Hunter Greene of Mountain Brook, whose major is Pre-Business
Amanda G. Sall of Hoover, whose major is Bioengineering, was named to the President's list, which is an honor for students who maintained a 4.0 GPA.
