Missing Man In Auburn Area Has Ties To Mountain Brook

Bruce Crandall Eckert, missing from the Auburn area for more than a week, last spoke with family members in Mountain Brook eight days ago.

AUBURN, AL - A 26-year-old man who has not been seen or heard from since Nov. 8 spoke on the phone that day with a close family member who lives in Mountain Brook. Bruce Crandall Eckert Jr. was reported missing to the Auburn Police Department over the weekend.

A report by Alabama Media Group said authorities believe Eckert left the area on his own accord and there is no indication of foul play at this point in the investigation.

Eckert is described as a white male, 6-feet, 2-inches tall and weighing 220 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair, with a full mustache and beard.
