The City does not put up these mirrors as they are not in the Uniformed Traffic Control Manual. A private citizen must have placed this mirror.. We have several throughout the city put up by residents.

What is the latest on the sidewalks for Pine Ridge Road?

Estimated to begin and finish construction in late 2022 or 2023.

Can we make the dirt pile in Mountain Brook a green space until they figure out what they are going to do? This looks terrible and has been there way too long. A nice entrance to the city off 280 would be more appealing.

The owner has Phase I filled now and is working on plans to soon start construction of Phase II once he obtains a few additional leases for the 2nd phase.

How is MB enforcing the mask ordinance? I see so many people not following it.

Through education on our social media sites, videos from the mayor and Police Dept warning groups who are not wearing masks or following social distancing guidelines.

Where can I find a list of road projects in Mountain Brook for the coming year?

If you are referring to road paving projects, our Public Works Dept puts together a list of roads to be paved in the spring and it is publicized and approved by the City Council. We do have several Spire, BWWB and Jefferson County Sewer projects ongoing or planned and we work with these utilities to notify the affected residents and to post on our social media.
