The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Mountain Brook.
🔴 CORRECTION: Friday morning's edition of The Mountain Brook Daily originally misstated the crime of which Christopher Powanda, a candidate for City Council, was accused. Powanda faced assault allegations in Connecticut more than 20 years ago for his involvement in a bar fight, however, charges eventually were reduced to misdemeanor public disturbance. He did not face sexual assault allegations, as was erroneously stated.
