Mountain Brook Ranks In Top 10 Among Best Alabama School Systems

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook Schools has consistently ranked among the top school systems in the state, and even among the best in the country. Niche.com's rankings of the state's best school systems this year again has Mountain Brook among Alabama's best.

Mountain Brook ranked third in the state in Niche.com's list of best school systems, behind Madison City Schools and Homewood City Schools.

The 2021 Best School Districts ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings and other factors.

Mountain Brook's overall Niche grade was an A+, and received A+ grades in the categories of Academics, Teachers, College Prep, Sports, Food and Health & Safety. The system received an A in Clubs & Activities, Administration and Resources & Facilities categories and a D+ in Diversity.
