Mountain Brook's Colby Jones Receives Big Time College Offers
Mountain Brook basketball standout Colby Jones has received scholarship offers from Power 5 schools in recent weeks.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - Coming off a state championship, Mountain Brook hoops star Colby Jones has been busy in the off-season impressing college recruiters. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard has received offers from major college basketball programs in the last two weeks, with more likely on the horizon.
Jones, who transferred to Mountain Brook from Pinson Valley High School last summer, helped the Spartans to their third straight state championship this season, and colleges have taken notice. Jones received a scholarship offer from the University of Georgia last week, and this week received an offer from Clemson University.
Jones also made an official visit to Yale University April 19-21.

South Alabama has offered Jones a scholarship as well, and Alabama, UAB, Harvard, Princeton and Xavier have also expressed interest in recruiting Jones.
