Mountain Brook's Hamp Sisson Bryant-Jordan Winner
Mountain Brook student and star athlete Hamp Sisson was named the overall Scholar-Athlete winner in the Bryant-Jordan Scholarship Program.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Mountain Brook High School honor student and star athlete Hamp Sisson was named the overall Scholar-Athlete winner in the Bryant-Jordan Scholarship Program Monday night. Sisson, who was the starting quarterback for the Spartans and a key player on Mountain Brook's state champion basketball team, is also a National Merit Semi-finalist with a 4.47 GPA and scored 35 on the ACT.
Sisson will play football in the fall at Furman University.
Since 1986, the Bryant-Jordan Student-Athlete Scholarship Program has celebrated outstanding high school seniors who demonstrate hard work, determination and commitment that has led to success in sport and academics. Established by the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in partnership with the AHSAA, the program was built on the unconditional belief that education and athletics could work together to motivate young people to excel.
