The SUAA will also provide alumni with a new twist on a time-honored tradition. In place of the traditional Candlelight Dinner on Friday, the alumni association will now host the Samford Alumni Celebration. The event will be one of the highlights of the weekend and the celebration that Samford and its distinguished alumni deserve. Alumni will feast on delicious food stations, take in the delightful music and enjoy an atmosphere fit for the best Bulldogs, all while reveling in all that Samford was, is and will be. Both the 2020 and 2021 Alumni of the Year honorees will be recognized, and we will be joined by President Beck A. Taylor and First Lady and Executive Director of the Legacy League Julie Taylor.

For families with small children who may be looking for a more casual way to connect with Samford friends, the Samford Family Homecoming Dinner is a great option on Friday night. Stay tuned for more details and be sure to mark your calendars for these special events. Most events are free to attend and open to all alumni, family and friends.
