Spartan Girls Win State Tennis Title
The Mountain Brook High School girls tennis team won the AHSAA title, with boys team finishing third in the state
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - The Mountain Brook High School girls tennis team captured its 28th state title this week, while the boys team finished third in the AHSAA tournament
Seniors Aidan Cabraja and Stuart Phelan won boys singles championship titles. Charlotte Gillum, Liz Vandevelde and Maggie Duggan won girls singles titles, and Emma Karcher and Vandevelde won a doubles title.
Mountain Brook has won the last three boys state titles, but fell just short this year. In all, the Spartans have won 25 boys state tennis championships.
