Spartans Finalize Varsity Hoops Team For 2018-19 Season
The Mountain Brook Spartans will defend their basketball state championship, but with a few new members to the team next season.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - The Mountain Brook basketball team will defend its state championship next season with a few new faces on its side. The Spartans announced its new varsity roster over the weekend, and of course includes Alabama's Mr. Basketball Trendon Watford.
The Spartans lose Britton Johnson, Hamp Sisson, Sean Elmore and William Lineberry from last year's state championship team. However, returning from last year, in addition to Watford, are Holt Bashinsky, Alex Washington, Paulie Stramaglia, Lior Berman, James Childs, Grant Griffin, Ben Garrett and Peyton Haley.
