Spartans JV Baseball Team Finishes Undefeated Season
The Mountain Brook High School junior varsity baseball team has finished its season undefeated.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - The Mountain Brook Spartans junior varsity baseball team begins the Metro Tournament Tuesday, and does so without a blemish on its record.
Mountain Brook defeated Oak Mountain Saturday 12-4 to cap off an undefeated regular season. The 24-0 Spartans will face Oak Mountain again Tuesday afternoon at Spain Park.
The Spartans have ridden strong pitching by Curt Gann, Will Baynes, Clark Griffin, Beau Hubbard and David Stone, while getting huge run support from David White, Alex Gauld and Harrison Ware, among the team's standouts.
