MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — The Mountain Brook Spartans football team is just weeks away from opening the 2019 season. And Spartans fans will be happy to know that the first three games of the season will be played at home in Mountain Brook.

Mountain Brook opens the season August 23 against Northridge High School of Tuscaloosa, and follows that with another home game against Center Point. These are non-region games, which will prepare the Spartans for its first regional game against Tuscaloosa County - also at home.

The Spartans were 9-3 last season but will have to replace 36 departing seniors from last year's roster. This makes the already-tough regional schedule even tougher.
