MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook suffered their second consecutive loss last week, falling to Hoover 34-10. Going int the last regular season game against Gardendale, the Spartans remain ranked in the Alabama Sports Writers Association top 10.

The game this week is a warm-up for the Spartans playoff match-up next week at Florence. Mountain Brook takes a 7-2 record and a no. 8 Class 7A ranking into this week's game, but the outcome will not affect the first round playoff match-up.
