Spartans Remain In Top 10 Heading Into Homecoming Weekend
Heading into the final week of the regular season, Mountain Brook remains in the ASWA poll.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - Despite losing consecutive games, Mountain Brook remains ranked in the Alabama Sports Writers Association top 10 poll this week, as the Spartans head into a Homecoming Week match-up with Gardendale.
Mountain Brook suffered its first loss against Thompson two weeks ago, and then dropped its next game against Hoover last weekend, 31-7. The Spartans surrendered more points in its last two games than the first seven games of the season combined. However, the ASWA has the Spartans ranked 9th in this week's poll, with Mountain Brook poised for a playoff run.
