Spartans Remain In Top 5 Heading Into Oak Mountain Game

The ASWA football rankings were released Wednesday, and Mountain Brook heads into the weekend with a top 5 ranking.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Coming off a bye week, Mountain Brook continues regional play this Friday, facing Oak Mountain at home. The Spartans enter the second half of the 2019 season ranked in the top 5 in the most recent Alabama Sports Writers Association poll.

Mountain Brook begins a stretch of tough games in the following weeks. After the Oak Mountain game, the Spartans host top 10 Hewitt-Trussville before going to Alabaster to face the top-ranked Thompson Warriors, then will host 4th-ranked Hoover.
