Spartans On A Roll Headed Into Game Against Hewitt-Trussville
The top 5 Spartans will take on Hewitt-Trussville this week at Spartan Stadium.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook remembers well what last year's game against Hewitt-Trussville meant to the Spartans' season. The upset win on the road at HTHS was the biggest win of the year for Mountain Brook, and the tables will turn a bit for this year's match-up.
The Huskies come into the game off a loss to Vestavia Hills, and seeking revenge for last year's home loss to MBHS. A road win by the Huskies could salvage their season, as last year's win over Hewitt-Trussville boosted Mountain Brook's season.
The Spartans stomped Oak Mountain last week 42-14 to remain undefeated and in the Alabama Sports Writers Association top 5.
