Spartans To Start Season With High ASWA Ranking
The preseason Alabama Sports Writers Association football rankings are out, and Mountain Brook is one of the top teams.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook is a 6A school for the first time since 2013, and begins the first season under its new classification ranked second in the Alabama Sports Writers Association preseason poll.
The Spartans are ranked no. 2 behind Oxford, and are followed by Pinson Valley. Mountain Brook received five first-place votes in the poll.
