Alabaster House Fire Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

One person is dead and another injured after a house fire in Shelby County Tuesday morning.

ALABASTER, AL - A house fire Tuesday morning in Shelby County claimed the life of one victim and hospitalized another. The fire broke out at approximately 8:30 a.m. in Alabaster.

A report by Alabama Media Group said firefighters from multiple agencies responded to the house fire at 61 Maylene Drive. Alabaster Fire Department Executive Officer Rowdy Tidwell said one person was pronounced dead on the scene and a second was taken to the hospital.
