Drug Arrest Made On Thompson High School Campus
An 18-year-old suspect was found on the Thompson campus in possession of Ecstasy, Psilocybin mushroom powder, Xanax, and marijuana.

ALABASTER, AL - A major drug arrest was made Wednesday on the campus of Thompson High School after an Alabaster School Resource Officer contacted the Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force in response to a narcotics investigation.
Drug Enforcement Investigators arrived and made contact with 18-year-old Kamau Diandi Greene of Alabaster, who police say was found to be in possession of Ecstasy, Psilocybin mushroom powder, Xanax, drug paraphernalia, and a quarter pound of Marijuana. Greene was also reported to be in possession of three firearms on the school campus, one of which was confirmed stolen.
Greene has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property 4th degree, Carrying a Pistol without a License, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Greene has been released from the Shelby County Jail on a $13,000 bond.

According to the Drug Enforcement Task Force, this is only the second drug enforcement action on the campus of Thompson High School within two years.
