Helena Police Arrest Burglary Suspect

Security cameras caught a Helena man stealing items from a home, prompting Helena police to arrest the man in Bessemer.

HELENA, AL - A Helena man was arrested in Bessemer last week after police were called to home where he man allegedly stole items from the house on Virginia Lane.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. July 13, the Helena Police Department responded to the 4000 block of Virginia Lane on a residential burglary report. The homeowner had a doorbell camera installed and captured video of the suspect exiting the home.

Within an hour the suspect had been identified and arrested in Bessemer by officers from Helena PD. Most of the victims' property was recovered at the time of arrest.

The suspect, Christopher Sanders Pair, was transferred to Shelby County Jail and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft 2nd Degree.
