Here's How Pelham's Municipal Election Results Will Be Counted And Posted

Public Notice - 2020 Notice of Election Night Results

The election officials will close the polls at 7:00 p.m. The election officials will then close out each voting machine, verify the total number of ballots cast, and post the results on the door of the Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena.

The voting machine totals will be taken to the City Clerk/Treasurer’s office by the Pelham Police Department. The totals will be compiled and verified by the City Clerk/Treasurer.

When the totals are verified, the City Clerk/Treasurer will immediately post the unofficial election results at Pelham City Hall, on the city’s website at www.pelhamalabama.gov and on social media. The unofficial election results will also be emailed to the media, candidates, and the city council.
