Man Charged In Child Pornography Case By Pelham Police
Valentin Belevich was arrested by Pelham PD Tuesday, after a two-month, joint investigation with the Hoover PD.
PELHAM, AL - A two-month long joint investigation between the Pelham Police Department and the Hoover Police Department has resulted in the arrest of a man on five counts of possessing child pornography. The arrest was made October 30 by the Pelham PD.
Valentin Belevich, a 68-year-old Russian national, was reportedly found in possession of images on a computer depicting a victim under the age of 17 engaged in sex acts.
Belevich was arrested by Hoover police on sex abuse charges in July for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a victim under the age of 12. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Patch morning newsletter.)
