Motorcyclist Killed In Crash In Pelham
A motorcyclist was killed midday Monday in a crash at a U.S. 31 intersection in Pelham.
PELHAM, AL - A motorcycle crash in Pelham Monday resulted in a fatality, as motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries. The incident occurred just after noon on U.S. 31.
A report by Alabama Media Group said the collision happened in the northbound lanes between a motorcycle and a pickup truck. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Police said the Metro Shelby County Traffic Homicide Task Force is working to determine the cause of the crash. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his family.
